Meet Sam (ID5768)
Sam, whose official name is Samson, is an owner surrender due to illness in the home. Sam was well loved. Sam is a big, solid boy. Sam is in foster with two small children who he does very well with. Sam is dog friendly and meets new dogs gently and calm, although he does try to hump them. Sam is housebroken and not destructive. He is however, very mischievous. Sam is good for unrolling the toilet paper, stealing your towel while you shower, or stealing your second shoe while you put on the first. Every now and then he will toss his toys in the air and happily bounce after them. But for the grey in his muzzle, Sam seems much younger than his 10 years (turned 10 in December). He walks well on leash, but occasionally decides he doesn't want to move and will stubbornly, but briefly, have a stand off with you. Sam is not possessive over his food, his toys, or your toys and allows them to be taken without issue. Sam loves to lay his head in your lap and snuggle up. He also loves a good massage and will push his head against you to show affection. He is really a wonderful wonderful boy and anyone who adopts him would be very lucky.
