Meet Tucker (ID6045)

Is your lap missing a dog? If so, Tucker might be the perfect fit for you. Tucker is a one year old male who LOVES people and hasn't met a stranger yet. He gives great kisses, and has mastered the art of keeping your lap warm in exchange for belly scratches. Tucker is a very smart boy, and knows all of his basic commands. The more he trusts you, the better he listens to you. When he knows you have treats, he becomes the best listener you have ever seen. Pumpkin biscuits are his absolute favorite. Tucker loves to be wherever his people are. He plays tug of war with the knotted rope, keep the ball away from anyone who wants it and hide and seek for treats. He also loves to wade in the water while his people swim, and relaxing in the middle of the kitchen floor while mom makes dinner. Tucker is fully house trained and despite his desire to be with his people at all times, he does great sleeping in his crate and relaxing in his crate when his people need to work from home without a dog on their lap or leave to run errands. He still gets very excited on walks but is improving on his leash manners very quickly. Tucker would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention, but he also gets along well with other dogs. He loves kids, but because he isn't aware of how big and strong he is, a family with older kids would be best. Tucker is being fostered in Austin, Texas but would love to find his fur-ever home soon.
