Meet Mocha (ID6067)

Mocha is a sweet, but shy 3 year old spayed female. She came into Rescue with her littermate and her littermate's daughter. They lived outside, so she did not grow up with training or much socialization. She is settling in very well to inside life at her foster home. She is working on crate training and house training. She walks well on leash with a harness and has even learned how to go up and down the stairs. She is still very shy when meeting new people and will walk away or try to hide. However, she does warm up to new people if they give her time to get comfortable. Once she is comfortable, Mocha is good with men, women, children, and other dogs, but she will chase cats. We feel Mocha would do best in a home with a male dog or a non-dominant female dog. She is pretty mellow, but is starting to come out of her shell a bit and has begun playing with the other dogs in her foster home.
