Meet Serena (ID6006)

Serena was found as a stray with another female Ridgeback. The shelter turned both girls over to Rescue. Our best guess is that she’s between 4 – 6 years old and had been bred previously. She is a smaller female and is now spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready to find a new home. Serena is very sweet and likes to cuddle, but on her terms. She is not comfortable with quick movements or loud noises. She is crate trained, house trained, and has been through basic obedience training. She is a dominant female, so we feel she would do best in a home with a laidback male dog, a very submissive female dog, or she would be fine as the only dog in the home. She has not been around small children or cats, so we feel a home without kids and cats would be best. She is pretty laid back and is happy to veg on the couch instead of running around and playing.
