Meet Gloria (ID6212)

Hi there, I’m Gloria. I am a spayed female, around 6 years old, up to date on my vaccines with a full ridge and 2 crowns. I am a very laid back house dog who loves to cuddle up on the couch with my humans and chew on a good bone. I am very tolerant to all dogs in the house and try to play with everyone outside as well (my housemates are 8lbs, 58lbs, 80lbs and 95lbs dogs). I am curious but not pushy around my foster cats and respect when they avoid me. I adore the toddler in my foster house and play with her respectfully. Strangers are a foreign concept to me as I quickly make friends with everyone I meet. Car rides are fun, but I usually fall asleep 10 minutes in. I enjoy going for a walk and do not pull very much, but could use some training in more stimulating environments. I am comfortable in a crate, especially if I have a bed, blanket and bone in there but prefer to be out with my humans. I do not chew on inappropriate things, but love shin bones! I have shown no evidence of resource guarding or kennel aggression (to humans or dogs), but I will bark if I see someone out the window. I am completely potty trained. Although I beg for human food I am respectful and listen when my foster parents tell me no since I am on a diet. Since I am a little older and overweight, I do have some arthritis and body changes that will require medications to help keep me comfortable long term as well as a strict diet plan to help me reach my goal weight.
