Meet Ziggy (ID6194)

Ziggy and her eight siblings were in deplorable conditions for the first nine months of their lives. They lived outside in two 10x10 pens with dirt floors, they never got to run, lie in the sun, just be loved. Since coming into Rescue, they are learning how to be inside dogs and are finally able to be puppies! Because they were denied so much, they are more like 4 month old puppies than 10 months old. And they are on the small side. Ziggy is a pretty, petite, ridged girl. She loves to run and play with other dogs, and needs to be in a home with another dog who is young enough to play with, and for companionship. She would like an active home where she can experience new things and go new places. Ziggy has already been on a hike in the woods and loved it! She is UTD on shots and neutered, HW neg and on preventative, crate trained, working on perfecting house training, working on leash walking, and is learning commands. Zig is eager to please and VERY food motivated. She can be shy at first and likes to have her safe place (crate) available to go to, but warms up quickly, and will come out and socialize. Ziggy is very snuggly and likes to do so with humans or other dogs. She is a sweet, happy and an easy going puppy, quiet in the house and will be a joy to her new forever family. DOB 2/7/25. Ziggy is being fostered in the Charlotte NC area.
