HELP WANTED!!! We are seeking volunteers throughout the National Capital Region - Washington, DC; Maryland; Virgina; and West Virginia. Knowledge of the breed is essential, and good communication skills are necessary. Help is needed to evaluate dogs, arrange fostering and veterinary care, evaluate adoption applicants, and match applicants with suitable dogs. There is an extensive support system in place, throughout the USA and Canada. It is not necessary for you to take dogs into your home, but you certainly can if you are able and willing to do so. On-the-job training will be provided. If you are interested in this truly rewarding volunteer position that shows a true love for the breed, please contact your area's rescue coordinator (listed above).
