Rocko has been adopted by Joe and Sheila of Tacoma. Joe and Sheila adopted beautiful Shea from us several years ago and are very happy to have big boy Rocko as a new family member. They are working first and foremost on recently neutered Rocko's scent marking habit! Rocko needs to be fattenend up, which his new family is more than happy to do. We just love repeat customers! Thank you to Barbara W., Sharon and Todd and Connie for fostering Rocko.

Sebago has found the perfect home with Sally and Bill in Arlington, WA. With 5 fenced acres, a 10 year old RR and numerous other animals on the place, it's a perfect match! And Sebago is the 5th rescue RR of theirs. They are so happy with Sebago, Bill wrote two poems about him and they will not let him go. Sebago was not easy to place and I am so grateful to Sally and Bill for being able to adopt him. Thank you so much to the Sterner family for fostering Sebago.

Boomer has found his forever home with Amanda and R.J. in Arkansas! Boomer was very hard to place; he has hip dysplasia in both legs and has been in the rescue program for over a year. His new family is just loving his great personality and wonderful brain, not to mention his handsomeness. His first night in his new home he ended up in bed with Amanda and R.J. - who is trainng who here! Many, many thanks to Kathy, who got Boomer in Oregon, and a special THANK YOU to Pam for fostering Boomer for 6 months and then getting him to the airport at 4:30 in the morning to catch his flight. And also thanks to Monica Moore, Arkansas Rescue Coordinator, who found these wonderful adopters for us!

Buster has found his forever home with Mary and Molly. Molly is a 9 year old Kerry Beagle and Buster took one look at her beautiful face and wanted to stay with her forever! Mary has learned that Buster is a very smart boy and he is doing very will in obedience training already! Buster and Molly still have issues - Buster is a steamroller and Molly will not tolerate that from this young whippersnapper, but they are playing and walking well together. Thank you so much to Rosalie, Sarah and Tracy for fostering Buster so long!
Mary reports, "Aslo (Buster's new name) is doing great. Yes, Aslo is his name, Sorry couldn't do Buster although it certainly fit! I am soo glad I brought him into my home!!! I have always wanted a dog to "cuddle" with. Although I did not picture it in such a big form! Molly has become good friends with him too. At first I would notice them play but if she saw me then she'd quit. Now they play regularly until his size and strength get to be too much. He is very sweet and very smart! Except he hates to heel but we're working on that. My friend Alida, who was with me the day I picked him up, just came for a visit with her husband. She has seen him once, briefly in between that time and was impressed at what a great dog he was. Well, maybe not when he stepped on her head getting into bed with them (uninvited) Luckily she was laughing because he is so damn cute. He has no concept of where he puts his feet. He just lays them where he needs to regardless of what he may be stepping on. But then he snuggles his head somewhere sweetly and pulls on your heart ... Mary & Aslo"

Taji is a delightful young dog. His name means "Crown" and he has one on his ridge, on the left side only. He is a mixed breed and we are not sure with what. Taji has gone home with Leigh! This delightful dog will have a wonderful home, as Leigh works out of her home and Taji will hardly ever be alone. He has a new Dalmatian roommate too, and Leigh shares her home with 3 others who all fell in love with Taji. And who wouldn't? He is a great dog who will probably be the star of his obedience class! Thank you, Erin, for fostering him.

Anica has found her new home with Matt and Terri and their senior citizen RR/lab mix, Duke. Matt and Terri adopted Duke from us sight unseen, as they were looking for an older dog. They have had Duke for almost 2 years, and wanted a dignified friend for him - enter Anica! She is everything they were looking for! And what a couple Annie and Duke make - she is very light yellow and Duke is solid black! Thank you to Garth and Rachael for fostering Anica.

Zelda has finally found her home, and I was beginning to think she never would. Zelda is going to Utah, thanks to Amy Balthrop, our Utah Rescue Coordinator, and she will be in the perfect home for her. Peter and Carolyn have rescued one RR and raised two others, so they know exactly what Zelda needs to be happy. Thank you, thank you to my wonderful foster home, Rosalie, Sarah and Tracy. Not only did they foster her, but they are going to meet Zelda's new family halfway between WA and Utah. Thanks, Amy, for some wonderful people.
