Phoebe is a very sweet and loving small Ridgeback/hound mix. She is affectionate and gets along with other dogs, cats and kids over 6. Phoebe is a very lucky girl to be adopted by Manine and Julie. They live one block from a large park, which has a great off-leash area. Phoebe will certainly be spoiled in her new home and she deserves it! Thank you, Tabitha and Jessica for all your help!

Jake is a Dalmatian/RR mix. He has a tuxedo coat pattern - his white chest and paw have black spots in them, and the rest of him is black. He has a nice RR head and a ridge. Jake's owner died and he was very skittish when he came to Rescue, but he has a lot of potential. Jake went home with Joe and Cindy and their 2 youngest kids, Ben and Ellie. His new family has Jake's brother and the two dogs hit it off right from the start! The family resemblance between the two dogs is striking! Jake will be very happy with his new (and old) family.Jake is built like, acts and thinks like a ridgeback - if he weren't black and white, you wouldn't think he was a mix!

Buddy is a big, purebred ridgeback whose original owners could not devote the time to him that he needs. Buddy is a puppyish dog; he is sweet and happy. Buddy's foster mom, Jennifer, decided that Buddy rounded out their family and that Buddy should stay with them. Thank you, Holley and Jennifer, for all your help with this big sweetheart!

Buck is a very nice dog who exhibited some anxiety separation. He is very happy in his new home with Jeff and Deb. Deb works from home so Buck won't be alone too much, and he will still get to play with Luna, his much-loved foster "sister," at the off-leash parks. Thank you, Marysue and Nick for fostering Buck!

Abbey is very happy with her new family. She is living in Kirkland, WA, with the Murray family and Sawyer, a rescued Australian Shepherd mix. Abbey also has a couple of cats to train her. She is gaining weight and is getting some obedience lessons - just what this stubborn girl needs. Abbey was underweight and with worms when she came to Rescue. She was lovingly fostered by Jenya, and Jenya says she is smart and sweet and very good in the house. She was a little defensive with Jenya's dogs (all mature sighthounds), but they taught her doggy etiquette! Abbey will need obedience training and excellent nutrition - and lots of love!

Dexter is a very sweet dog, who will get along great with almost any family. He is good with kids and other dogs, but is unknown around cats. Dexter is a ridged neutered male, and he is mixed with (possibly) Great Pyrenees. A very nice dog, who will do well in a loving home. He has been vaccinated and microchipped. Dexter is now Buddy and he is happily living with Karen and Fred in Renton, WA. He has some problems, but his new parents love him and will work with him on them. He is a beautiful dog, and so sweet! Thank you, Jenya and Valeri, for fostering him!

Woody is a very lucky dog to be adopted by his new family. Morgan, Zori, and their son Isaiah are very happy to have him, and his new name is "Sebago." Sebago has "Tessa" the dog as a new buddy, but "Timber" the cat is not so sure! Woody is a very smart, very big sweetheart! He had some obedience training and learns very fast. He is good with dogs and kids. Thank you to Holley for fostering Woody! |

Samson has gone to his new family in Seattle. He will have a small English Mastiff named Maude, who is also a rescue dog, as his new housemate, in addition to Kalen and Amy, who adopted him. Samson is in a wonderful home where he will be appreciated. It was hard for Jessica, who fostered him, to see him go. Thank you, Jessica. |

Zory had a tough time making it to her new home - Kay has been waiting for 5 weeks! Zory came from the Washington Co. shelter in Bend, OR, and Katie fostered her. Zory was injured - a nasty deep cut on her hock and possible internal injuries. She was spayed, vaccinated and stitched up. Zory's leg wound would not heal - it had to be stitched twice. It wasn't easy to get her from Bend, OR to Belfair, WA, but we did it! Zory is much loved and will live with Kay for a long time! |
