NAME M/F AGE PLACED PICTURE? ID
Princess F 1 yr Feb 02 NO ID626
DESCRIPTION Princess is a ridged, liver-nosed Ridgeback that was picked up at a shelter with Capone. Her previous owners crated her when indoors and chained her up when she was outside. When she came to rescue she was only about 58 lbs! She's shy but very sweet and likes to give kisses. Her foster home fell in love with her and Capone and has adopted both of them. They've got a nice sized fenced yard to play in and are very happy not having to be separated. They're off to a great start and will make wonderful house companions!

NAME M/F AGE PLACED PICTURE? ID
Capone M 1 yr Feb 02 NO ID627
DESCRIPTION Capone was picked up at a shelter with Princess. His previous owners crated him when indoors and chained him up when he was outside. When he came to rescue he was only about 56 lbs - about 20 - 25 lbs too thin! He's shy, very sweet but dependent upon Princess. His foster home fell in love with him and Princess so much that she ended up adopting both of them. They've got a nice sized fenced yard to play in and are very happy not having to be separated. They're off to a great start and will make wonderful house companions!

NAME M/F AGE PLACED PICTURE? ID
Ringo M 2 yrs Feb 02 YES ID581
See Pictures of Ringo Ringo was surrendered to rescue after being found at the shelter. He's a Ridgeback cross with a docked tail. He's super sweet and has found a home on a horse farm with three other dogs and two cats. His new home has five fenced acres, so he'll have lots of room to run and play with his other canine friends. Ringo's new mom is experienced with rescue dogs and is very committed to helping him work through his mild separation anxiety. Ringo is a lucky dog to have found such a perfect place to live the rest of his life!

NAME M/F AGE PLACED PICTURE? ID
Rhodie F 6 yrs Jan 02 YES ID555
See Pictures of Rhodie Rhodie was surrendered by her family due to a lack of time to provide her with adequate attention and because of a mild health condition, hypothyrodism. She's now found a home with a Ridgeback savvy family and will have the luxury of having someone home with her all day. She's a very special dog and is a wonderful companion!

NAME M/F AGE PLACED PICTURE? ID
Mattie F 13 yrs Dec 01 YES ID587
See Pictures of Mattie 13 year old Mattie was turned in to rescue because her owner was moving and wouldn't take the old girl with her. We were told she didn't get along with other dogs, but even still, we took her in and placed her in a foster home with a wonderful woman who wanted to try and make it work out with her ridgeless male. Mattie worked out so well that her foster home decided to keep her and have her live out her remaining years there - she is being spoiled rotten and is getting along with her new brother just great. She has a fenced in yard to play in and she's so comfortable in her new home that Mattie's started smacking her mom with her paw when she wants to share her dinner.

NAME M/F AGE PLACED PICTURE? ID
Bandit M 3 yrs Dec 01 YES ID506
See Pictures of Bandit Bandit was regretfully surrendered to rescue due to a family move. Bandit spent close to three months in rescue before his forever home was found, but all good things are worth waiting for! Bandit is super sweet and loves to play. Especially with the hose, which is not a typical RR trait. His new home is dog savy and even has some new RR cousins (including another rescued RR) that Bandit will make as his new friends.

NAME M/F AGE PLACED PICTURE? ID
Shumba M 2 yrs Nov 01 YES ID509
See Pictures of Shumba Shumba has found a wonderful home with two other canine companions, a Ridgeback and a Doberman. He has a large fenced in yard to play in, a family who pampers him and who are committed to his obedience training and to reducing his weight problem. It won't be long before he's down to 100 lbs and feeling better because of it!

NAME M/F AGE PLACED PICTURE? ID
Abigail F 1 yr Nov 01 YES ID530
See Pictures of Abigail Abigail was surrendured to rescue after being rescued from a home that kept her tied to a tree for the first six months of her life. She's a very happy girl, smart and loves to please. In her new home she'll have one other dog for company, a fenced in yard and a family who is very committed to obedience training. She has a strong prey drive and loves to lure course, so her new family is considering pursuing lure coursing with her as well. Abigail is a lucky girl!
