In 2001, Rhodesian Ridgeback breeder, Pat Ottaway (Echoridge Kennel) brought together a group of Rhodesian Ridgeback enthusiasts to raise funds for Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Inc., and the Msaada Ridgebacks. The dedicated group lovingly sewed a quilt to be raffled at the 71st RRCUS National Specialty. With the overwhelming success of the 2002 quilt, Pat Ottaway generously agreed to organize quilt projects for future RRCUS specialties.

Our Mission
The mission of Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Inc., is to provide for the rescue, care and adoption of abandoned or unwanted Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs, as well as to protect and preserve the integrity and welfare of the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed.
