About the Quilt Project In 2001, Rhodesian Ridgeback breeder, Pat Ottaway (Echoridge Kennel) brought together a group of Rhodesian Ridgeback enthusiasts to raise funds for Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Inc., and the Msaada Ridgebacks. The dedicated group lovingly sewed a quilt to be raffled at the 71st RRCUS National Specialty. With the overwhelming success of the 2002 quilt, Pat Ottaway generously agreed to organize quilt projects for future RRCUS specialties. The officers, directors and volunteers of Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Inc., express their heartfelt appreciation to all who contribute to the outstanding success of this project! Our Mission The mission of Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Inc., is to provide for the rescue, care and adoption of abandoned or unwanted Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs, as well as to protect and preserve the integrity and welfare of the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed. About Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Inc. Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Inc., is an all-volunteer, U.S. 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that operates throughout the USA and Canada. It is the official rescue program for both the AKC- and CKC-recognized national breed clubs for both the USA and Canada, respectively, as well as most local and regional breed clubs in both countries.
