THEME
The theme for the 2012 Rescue Quilt is "Ridgebacks On Safari."

STYLE
This beautiful block-pieced quilt features our ridgebacks and their African heritage. The finished size of the quilt is 72" wide by 67" long (183 cm by 170 cm). The quilt layout and assembly was completed by Laraine Caponi. Custom long-arm machine quilting was completed by Donna Laing of Northstar Quality Quilting, Warminster, Pennsylvania, USA (www.northstarqualityquilting.com). The quilt label was made by Pat Ottaway. While this quilt will provide plenty of warmth as a bedcover, it includes an ample hanging sleeve and is ready to be displayed on a quilting rod as a decorative wall hanging.

RAFFLE
The 2012 quilt will be raffled to raise funds for Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Inc. The winning ticket will be selected at the 81st RRCUS National Specialty Show in Orlando, Florida, on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Raffle ticket holders need not be present to win.
