THEME
The theme for the 2010 Rescue Quilt is "Pride of the Pacific", which was chosen to coincide with the 2010 RRCUS Specialty to be held in California.

STYLE
This beautiful block pieced quilt features our ridgebacks participating in beach activities. The finished size of the quilt is 66 inches by 51 inches. The quilt layout and assembly was completed by Laraine Caponi. The quilt backing was provided by Sue Case. The quilting was completed by Sandy Holderness of Cranberry Hill Long Arm Quilting. The 2010 Specialty Logo block was designed by Liesa Temple and was produced for the quilt by Pat Ottaway. The quilt label was also made by Pat Ottaway.

RAFFLE
The 2010 quilt will be raffled to raise funds for Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Inc. The winning ticket will be selected at the 79th RRCUS National Specialty Show in Ventura, California, following closing of the Best of Breed competition, which is currently scheduled for Friday, September 24, 2010. Raffle ticket holders need not be present to win.
